Ying Yong elected Shanghai mayor

Ying Yong was elected mayor of east China's Shanghai Municipality Friday at the fifth session of the 14th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, the city's legislature.
Ying previously served as the executive vice mayor of Shanghai.
Ying, born in 1957 and a native of Zhejiang Province, has been serving as vice secretary of the Shanghai municipal committee of the Communist Party of China since 2014. Endi
