Saudi youth shot in leg by suspected terror fugitives

Xinhua, January 18, 2017 Adjust font size:

The Saudi police said on Wednesday that a Saudi young man was shot in his leg on Tuesday evening by two suspected terror fugitives in Qatif region of the Eastern Province.

The 20-something man sustained a number of gun wounds in the leg on his way to see a relative, said the police.

The incident came a day after the announcement of the arrest of suspected terrorist Hussain Mohamed Al Faraj.

As one of the few predominantly Shiite areas in Saudi Arabia, Qatif suffers on-and-off violence and rioting from those who demand more rights. Endit
