Xinhua, January 18, 2017 Adjust font size:

Railway police in Baotou city in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region busted a drug gang and seized 28 suspects after a 14 month investigation, police announced Wednesday.

The police busted two meth labs, seizing 6.8 kilograms of methamphetamine and 19.5 kilograms of liquid methamphetamine, in September and October 2016, police said.

In August 2015, railway police found a man carrying 4 grams of methamphetamine on him at Baotou train station. Their investigation found the drug gang has been producing drugs in southern China's Guangdong Province, and transporting to Baotou city to sell.

One imitation gun, three bullets and one vehicle were also confiscated, police added.

Further investigation is underway. Endi
