Spanish stock market falls 0.16 pct, closes at 9,394 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.16 percent on Tuesday to close at 9,394.90 points, down from the 9,410 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, Acerinox shares led falls losing 1.62 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Mapfre, Caixabank, Merlin and Melia Hotels that lost 1.58 percent, 1.09 percent, 1.06 percent, 0.97 percent and 0.86 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led rises climbing 6.65 percent, followed by IAG, Acciona, Cellnex, R.E.C. and Banco Sabadell that rose 3.77 percent, 2.26 percent, 1.05 percent, 0.52 percent and 0.46 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 110 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.41 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday closing time. Endit
