Palestinian teenager killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers

A Palestinian teenager was killed Monday night during clashes with Israeli soldiers near the West Bank city of Bethlehem, local sources said.

Eyewitnesses said the teenager, 17, was killed by an Israeli soldier's gunfire in the town of Taqou near Bethlehem.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has confirmed the teenager's death in a press statement.

Palestinian medical sources said five others were injured in the violent clashes between Israeli soldiers and dozens of teenagers.

So far, a wave of violence between Israel and the Palestinians that broke out in Oct. 2015 has killed 350 Palestinians, 46 Israelis and one Jordanian. Endit
