Spanish stock market falls 1.07 pct, closes at 9,410 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 1.07 percent on Monday to close at 9,410 points, down from the 9,511.60 points of Friday.

On Monday session, Bankia shares led falls losing 2.89 percent, followed by Banco Popular, IAG, Banco Sabadell, Grifols and Caixabank that lost 2.34 percent, 2.33 percent, 1.94 percent, 1.89 percent and 1.73 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Mediaset shares led rises climbing 2.44 percent, followed by Acerinox, DIA, Gas Natural, Acciona and ArcelorMittal that rose 1.44 percent, 1.40 percent, 0.77 percent, 0.75 percent and 0.72 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 112 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.43 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday closing time. Endit
