Paris CAC 40 index gains 1.20 pct on Friday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 1.20 percent and closed at 4,922.49 points on Friday.

The top three gainers were Bouygues, up 4.12 percent, Credit Agricole, up 3.88 percent, and Societe Generale, up 3.48 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were Renault, down 2.89 percent, Technip, down 1.86 percent, and Sodexo, down 0.67 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed at 4,863.97 points. Endit
