BiH's GDP up by 2.4 pct in Q3 of 2016

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)'s gross domestic product (GDP) saw a real growth of 2.4 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2016, according to figures released by BiH's Agency for Statistics Saturday.

According to the agency, seasonally adjusted data shows BiH's GDP in the third quarter grew by 1 percent, when compared with the previous quarter.

Administrative activities grew by 12.1 percent year-on-year in the quarter, production and supply of electricity up by 11.1 percent, while agriculture increased by 9.5 percent, according to the agency.

Meanwhile, the country's export grew by 3.61 percent year-on-year in the first nine months of 2016, while the import in the same period increased by 3.59 percent, data from the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH showed. Endit
