The dollar changed hands in the lower 117 yen zone in early Tokyo trading Thursday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.06-07 yen compared with 117.19-29 yen in New York and 117.98-118.00 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.0499-1.0500 dollars and 122.90-91 yen against 1.0484-0494 dollars and 122.96-123.06 yen in New York and 1.0416-0418 dollars and 122.89-93 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
