French stock market drops 0.2 pct to 4,838.47 points on Thursday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.2 percent and closed at 4,838.47 points on Thursday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Thursday, down 9.54 points, with 20 of the 40 selected companies experiencing a drop.

The top three gainers were Orange, up 1.09 percent, Klepierre, up 0.93 percent, and Cap Gemini, up 0.79 percent.

The three companies of which the stock prices dropped the most were Valeo, down 1.46 percent, BNP PARISBAS, down 1.32 percent, and Technip, down 1.24 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped by 0.01 percent to close at 4,848.201 points on Wednesday, down 0.27 points. Endit
