Zharko appointed Belarusian deputy PM

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Vasily Zharko deputy prime minister, the press-service of the Belarusian leader said on Thursday.

Vasily Zharko has replaced Natalia Kochanova, who recently headed the presidential administration.

Zharko will supervise social affairs in the cabinet.

Zharko had been the Belarusian health minister since 2006. Endit
