Jordan to support Syrian refugees in winter

Xinhua, December 27, 2016 Adjust font size:

Jordan on Monday announced a plan to help Syrian refugees at the country's largest refugee camp in winter, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

Measures were reportedly taken to prevent the refugees from emergencies like heavy rainfall and flooding, with mobile houses in place, said a Jordanian official.

Preparations are undertaken by local and international relief agencies working in the Zaatari Camp, located in northern Jordan, which holds some 80,000 Syrian refugees. Endit
