Spanish stock market rises 0.37 pct, closes at 9,367 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.37 percent on Friday to close at 9,367.70 points, up from the 9,333.60 points of Thursday.

Share values were down 0.48 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium going from the 107 points of Monday to the 115 points of Friday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate going from 1.40 percent of five days ago to the 1.41 percent of Friday.

On Friday session, Telefonica shares led rises climbing 1.43 percent, followed by Grifols, Merlin, Endesa, Amadeus and Melia Hotels that rose 1.33 percent, 1.13 percent, 1.10 percent, 1.03 percent and 1.02 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 3.29 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, ACS, DIA, Acerinox and Banco Sabadell that lost 1.15 percent, 0.99 percent, 0.77 percent, 0.62 percent and 0.59 percent respectively. Endit
