British FTSE 100 rises 0.06 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.06 percent, or 4.49 points, to 7,068.17 points.

Share price of Capita increased by 3.69 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Land Securities Group, National Grid, Hammerson and Whitbread increased by 2.00 percent, 1.91 percent, 1.61 percent and 1.57 percent respectively.

Barratt Developments led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.41 percent, following by HSBC Holdings (1.33 percent), Fresnillo (1.07 percent), BHP Billiton (1.02 percent) and Kingfisher (0.91 percent). Endit
