Dollar changes hands in upper 117 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 117 yen zone early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.62-63 yen compared with 117.51-61 yen in New York and 117.58-60 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.0425-0426 dollars and 122.62-64 yen against 1.0417-0427 dollars and 122.50-60 yen in New York and 1.0407-0408 dollars and 122.37-41 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
