Xinhua, December 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chinese lawmakers applauded a draft decision on piloting supervisory system reform in Beijing, Shanxi and Zhejiang at the ongoing bimonthly session of the top legislature.

During panel deliberations on Wednesday, joined by top legislator Zhang Dejiang, lawmakers agreed that despite of progress in "fastening the cage of regulations," the country still faces challenges in fighting corruption

Deepening supervisory system reform is a key political move related to overall development, and is of great and far-reaching importance for advancing rule of law and strict governance of the Party, said legislators.

At a key meeting of the Communist Party of China held in October, two documents on the discipline of the Party were approved, moves that showcased China's strong resolve in practicing strict governance of the Party and fighting graft. Endi
