Chinese shares open higher Wednesday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.14 percent at 3,107.24 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component index opened 0.2 percent higher at 10,266.19 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.28 percent to open at 1,987.76 points. Endi
