The Swedish economy remains strong, said Swedish Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson on Tuesday.

While presenting the Ministry of Finance's latest economic and public finances forecast on Tuesday, Andersson said, with a strong and stable growth, reduced unemployment and significantly strengthened fiscal surplus, this year shows Sweden's continued economic strength.

"Forecast shows a growth rate of 3.4 percent this year and 2.4 percent next year and the Swedish model will thus continue to deliver high growth compared with other countries," said Andersson. Endit
