Spanish stocks rise 1.33 pct

Spanish shares rose on Thursday, with the index Ibex-35 gaining 1.33 percent to close at 9,340.80 points.

Grifols, a Spanish multinational pharmaceutical and chemical company, led the gainers by climbing 6.72 percent, after it announced to acquire U.S.

Hologic Inc's assets in their blood screening joint

venture for 1.85 billion U.S. dollars.

Shares of major Spanish bank Bankia soared 6.19 percent. Air carrier IAG gained 4.11 percent.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 113 points and 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.51 percent. Endit
