Spanish shares gain 1.58 pct to close at 9,331 points

Spanish stocks rose 1.58 percent on Tuesday to close at 9,331.30 points.

Mediaset shares led gains by climbing 5.97 percent, followed by Acciona, IAG, Gamesa, R.E.C. and Telefonica that rose 5.53 percent, 2.98 percent, 2.94 percent, 2.57 percent and 2.42 percent respectively.

ArcelorMittal shares led falls by losing 3.26 percent, followed by Grifols, Indra A and Banco Popular that lost 1.04 percent, 0.45 percent and 0.20 percent respectively.

In addition, Spain's risk premium closed at 109 points, down 12 points from Monday's closing. The country's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.47 percent. Endit
