Singapore strongly condemns bomb attack at church in Cairo: MFA

Singapore strongly condemns the heinous bomb attack at a Coptic church in Cairo on Sunday, which has resulted in the loss of innocent lives and injuries to many, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

The ministry stressed that those responsible must be brought to justice. It affirmed that Singapore stands in solidarity with the Egyptian government and its people during this difficult period.

The ministry also conveyed the deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish those injured a speedy recovery.

The bomb attack at St Mark's Coptic Cathedral complex in Cairo Sunday killed 25 and injured 49 people, while 10 of them in critical condition. Endit
