This was not the first such victory of the Kyrgyz team, she said.

"Since 2010, Kyrgyz team of traditional wushu have been taking part in various international competitions and won many medals, including gold, silver and bronze," Seryakova said.

Seryakova highlighted the contribution of Chinese master Li Jianpin, who lived in Kyrgyzstan for seven years and now backs home to Sichuan province.

"The Kyrgyz sportsmen were trained by world and China's champion, former captain of Chinese national team on traditional wushu Li Jianpin while he was in Kyrgyzstan. And now we go to China to seminars of master Li Jianpin, he teaches us his style," she said.
