Raptors throttle Timberwolves 124-110

DeMar DeRozan had 27 points and Kyle Lowry had 25 as the Toronto Raptors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-110 on Thursday night.

Zach Lavine scored 29 points for the Timberwolves, who suffered their 13th straight loss in Toronto. Andrew Wiggins added 25 points. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Lowry was 5 of 7 from 3-point range and had 11 assists, and Jonas Valanciunas finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Raptors.

Minnesota entered the fourth quarter with one-point lead (89-88) before Lowry and Patrick Patterson buried back-to-back three pointers to make it a 12-point lead for Toronto. Athough LaVine's 3-pointer cut the deficit to 7 with 3:06 left, the Timberwolves could get no closer. Endit
