Xinhua, December 9, 2016 Adjust font size:

A total of 108,530 Vietnamese went abroad to work in the first 11 months of 2016, exceeding the target set for the period by 8.5 percent, according to the Vietnam Labor Export Association on Friday.

The figure, however, was down by 0.66 percent from the same period in 2015.

In November alone, 10,120 workers were contracted to work overseas, up 2.88 percent from the same period last year.

In 2015, approximately 116,000 Vietnamese laborers were sent abroad to work. Endit
