Inter Milan mull loan deal for Brazil striker

Xinhua, December 9, 2016 Adjust font size:

Inter Milan are seeking to loan out Brazilian starlet Gabriel Barbosa in the January transfer window, according to media reports.

Barbosa has played just 16 minutes for the Nerazzurri since his 29.5 million-euro move from Santos in September.

The 20-year-old striker is being sought by Spain's Las Palmas as well as Italian clubs Bologna, Genoa and Atalanta, according to Brazilian newspaper Gazeta Esportiva.

Barbosa is seen as one of Brazil's most promising young players, having scored 57 goals in 155 matches for Santos in 2013. He has been capped four times for Brazil, scoring twice.

The forward was also part of Brazil's gold medal-winning Olympic football team in Rio in August. Endit
