Spanish stock market rises 0.75 pct, closes at 8,960 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.75 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,960.40 points, up from the 8,893.30 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 4.67 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Indra A, IAG, Bankia and DIA that rose 3.99 percent, 3.92 percent, 3.76 percent, 3.23 percent and 2.98 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led falls losing 2.79 percent, followed by Grifols, Bankinter, Gas Natural, Iberdrola and R.E.C. that lost 2.30 percent, 1.80 percent, 0.90 percent, 0.80 percent and 0.76 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 114 points, down from the 122 points of Tuesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.5 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
