Jilin downs Beijing 100-99 in CBA action

Jilin defeated Beijing 100-99 in a CBA action here on Wednesday as J.A. Brown scored 31 points, bringing the first victory to Jilin in its last 10 meetings against Beijing.

Team Jilin prevailed in most of the time. After Beijing turned the table in the middle period of the 4th quarter, Brown's buzzer beater helped the home team lead for good by one point, leaving just 8 seconds to his opponents.

At last, Zhang Qingpeng missed the final 3-pointer, throwing the home fans into craziness as Jilin haven't beat Beijing since the 2013-2014 season.

Zhai Xiaochuan led Beijing with 29 points. Stephon Marbury scored 21 points.

"We were pretty excited all the night, the crowd are outstanding," said Jilin's coach Bob Donewald Jr..

Beijing will be at Liaoning on Sunday for the other tough game during its away journey in northeast China. Endit
