Urgent: S.Korean president considers accepting April resignation call from ruling party

South Korean President Park Geun-hye has considered accepting call from the ruling Saenuri Party to let the embattled president resign in April next year, the party's whip told reporters in the National Assembly building after meeting with Park in the presidential office.

Saenuri Party floor leader Chung Jin-suk said President Park told him that she will make every effort she can if the impeachment motion is passed in the parliament. Endit
