U.S. stocks rally amid Fed official's speech, Italy referendum

U.S. stocks rose Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average refreshing new closing record, as investors meditated on a Fed official's comments and a key referendum in Italy.

The Dow added 0.24 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 0.58 percent, while the Nasdaq jumped 1.01 percent. Endit
