Albania puts on sale 13 free areas for mineral extraction

The Albanian ministry of energy and industry has decided to open soon an auction for the sale of 13 free areas for mineral extraction activities, local media here said Monday referring to sources from this ministry.

These areas that will be developed by private companies or subjects are located in the capital Tirana, Dibra, Shkodra, Kukes (north of Albania) and Elbasan (central Albania).

The Public Procurement Agency informed the areas would be exploited for minerals such as limestone, gypsum, marble and iron nickel. Enditem
