The following are highlights of South African major media outlets on Sunday:
-- Suspended National Police Commissioner Riah Phiyega is not fit to hold office and should be dismissed, the board of inquiry into her fitness to hold office has found.
Phiyega will now become the third successive national police commissioner to leave under a cloud, and the first police officer to be held to account for the 2012 Marikana massacre, in which 34 mine workers at Lonmin's platinum mine were killed while protesting for higher wages. (City Press)
-- United Nations human rights experts have called for the establishment of a "clear and sustainable" deinstitutionalization policy and plan of action following the deaths of 37 patients after they were transferred out of a South African government psychiatric facility earlier this year. (News24)
-- President Jacob Zuma's office has confirmed that he has filed papers in the High Court in Pretoria in an attempt to set aside the former Public Protector's State of Capture report.
