Russian-Chinese Association of Culture and Arts Universities formed

An agreement on the establishment of the Russian-Chinese Association of Culture and Arts Universities was signed on Thursday at the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.

The agreement was signed by Li Yuming, Chairman of the Council of the Beijing University of Language and Culture, Ivan Lobanov, rector of Moscow State Institute of Culture, and Alexander Turgaev, rector of Saint Petersburg State Institute of Culture.

Eight Chinese universities and 18 Russian universities will participate in the Association's the programs that include, among others, student exchanges, development of research projects and grants.

According to the Forum press service report, this is the first of four important agreements between China and Russia that will be signed at the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. Endit
