Spanish stock market rises 0.24 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.24 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,688.20 points, up from the 8,667 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Banco Popular led rises climbing 5.08 percent, followed by Repsol, Bankia, Tecnicas Reunidas, Banco Sabadell and Bankinter that rose 4.30 percent, 2.31 percent, 2.18 percent, 2.17 percent and 2.04 percent respectively.

On the other hand, DIA shares led falls losing 4.06 percent, followed by IAG, AENA, Mediaset, R.E.C. and Cellnex that lost 2.35 percent, 1.73 percent, 1.58 percent, 1.15 percent and 1.01 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 131 points, down from the 137 points of Tuesday, and Spain's ten-year bond interest rate closed at 1.5 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
