The following are news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Tuesday.

-- Police question top sports ministry officials over the disappearance of monies meant for athletes in the recent Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

A report by the Olympic Games probe team accuses the steering committee of abdicating its work and allowing the plundering of resources and mismanagement by officials. Several officials have been charged in court following theft of funds and mishandling of athletes after public outcry. (Daily Nation)
