Dollar changes hands in upper 111 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 111 yen zone early Tuesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 111.71-73 yen compared with 111.87-97 yen in New York and 111.93-95 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.0617-0618 dollars and 118.60-63 yen against 1.0607-0617 dollars and 118.74-84 yen in New York and 1.0655-0656 dollars and 119.26-30 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Endit
