Health authorities in Mozambique said on Monday that death toll in the fuel tanker truck explosion in Central Tete province had reached 96.

"Eight out of 47 patients receiving treatment at the provincial hospital are still under intensive care. All of them are children," Celma Issufo, a doctor in Tete provincial hospital told the media. (Mozambique-Tanker Explosion)

LISBON -- Two men were killed after part of a building in central Lisbon collapsed on Monday, according to the Portuguese Authority for the Conditions of Work.

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Monday met with former CIA Director David Petraeus as he ratcheted up efforts to search for a new U.S. secretary of state.

MOSUL -- Iraqi security forces in Monday continued their clashes against the Islamic State (IS) militants and seized more ground in and near the city of Mosul, after nearly six weeks since a major offensive was launched to drive out the extremist militants from their last major stronghold in the country, the Iraqi military said.
