State Council appoints, removes officials

The State Council, China's cabinet, has announced the appointment and removal of several officials, according to a circular issued Monday.

Lou Jiwei was appointed chairman of the National Council for Social Security Fund, replacing Xie Xuren.

Huang Shuxian was removed from the post of chief of the National Bureau of Corruption Prevention.

Sharhat Ahan will no longer hold the post of deputy political commissar of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Endi
