Spanish stock market rises 0.20 pct on Friday

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.20 percent on Friday to close at 8,674.40 points, up from the 8,657.20 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 0.6 percent in the week as a whole with the risk premium going from the 136 points of Monday to the 133 points of Friday. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate went down from the 1.64 percent of Monday to the 1.59 percent of Friday.

On Friday's session, Iberdrola shares led rises climbing 2.09 percent, followed by Enagas, R.E.C, Viscofan, Gas Natural and Cellnex that rose 1.84 percent, 1.73 percent, 1.63 percent, 1.37 percent and 1.36 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Bankia shares led falls losing 1.75 percent, followed by Banco Sabadell, Banco Popular, Repsol, Acerinox and Caixabank that lost 1.50 percent, 0.95 percent, 0.93 percent, 0.93 percent and 0.93 percent, respectively. Endit
