EU condemns car bomb attack in SE Turkey

he European Union (EU) on Thursday condemned a car bomb attack in southeastern Turkey which killed at least two people and wounded 21 others.

"We express our condolences to the families of the victims killed and wish a speedy recovery to those injured," a spokesperson of the European External Action Service (EEAS) said in a statement.

"We reiterate our continuing solidarity to Turkey, its government and its people and reaffirm our commitment to work closely together against all forms of terrorism," the spokesperson added.

Two people were killed and 21 others injured early Thursday in a bombing at the parking lot of the Adana governor's office in southeastern Turkey, Hurriyet News reported.

Adana Governor Mahmut Demirtas said a bomb-laden vehicle was detonated by a female suspect near the entrance of his office. Enditem
