Int'l festival of homeless theater starts in Bratislava

The three-day international festival of theater groups involving the homeless, Error 2016, began here on Thursday with a play staged by a troupe from Iceland.

"The 10th edition of the only festival in Europe focusing on theater groups that work with homeless or otherwise socially excluded and disadvantaged people will also present the Norwegian theater group called Vardeteatret, which works with prisoners," said Ursula Kovalyk, the director of Homeless Theater, the only community center in Bratislava that employs homeless people, people with psychiatric diagnoses, severe physical disabilities,and former prisoners.

Apart from Slovakia, Iceland and Norway, theater groups from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Spain will also take part in the festival. Endit
