BiH Jan.-Oct. exports up 2.6 pct year-on-year

Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) amounted to 7.692 billion convertible marka (4.174 billion U.S. dollars) in the first ten months of this year, registering a year-on-year increase of 2.6 percent, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to data from BiH Agency for Statistics, imports during the same period reached 13.243 billion convertible marka, down 0.1 percent year-on-year.

The European Union (EU) is the most important trade partner for BiH.

Exports to EU countries amounted to 5.582 billion convertible marka from January to October this year, while imports from EU totaled 8.183 billion convertible marka. (1 U.S. dollar=1.84 Bosnian convertible marka) Endit
