3 security personnel killed in NW Pakistan bomb explosion

At least three security personnel were killed and five others injured when a bomb went off near their vehicle in Pakistan's northwest Peshawar city, local media reported Tuesday.

Samaa News said that the bomb went off near the truck of paramilitary troops Frontier Corps when it was passing by Bashirabad area of Peshawar, the capital city of northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Police said that the truck was on its routine patrolling on the outskirts of the city when it was hit by the roadside planted device.

The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital where two of them are said to be in critical condition.

Police cordoned off the area for investigations.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Endit
