The 14th Vietnam International Trade Fair or Vietnam Expo 2016 is expected to kick off on Nov. 30, drawing 520 domestic and foreign companies from 20 countries and regions worldwide, said the organizer on Tuesday.

Among some 600 booths at the event, six national booths will be offered with outstanding display including those from China, China's Taiwan, Indonesia, Nepal, South Korea and Vietnam, said Vietnam's National Trade Fair and Advertising Joint Stock Company (Vinexad), at a press briefing in capital Hanoi on Tuesday.

Exhibitors will showcase products in five main sectors of national pavilions, environment-friendly technology, hardware and hand tools, machines and electric-electronic equipments, as well as handicrafts and gifts.

Vietnam Expo 2016 will provide a trade bridge for domestic and foreign companies to seek business opportunities and boost trade-investment ties, said Vinexad.

In the latest edition in 2015, Vietnam Expo drew a total of 15,460 person-times of visitors with over 500 deals signed.

The event will last till Dec. 3. Enditem
