At least six children were killed and 23 more injured on Monday after a school bus crashed into a tree in the U.S. state of Tennessee, local authorities said.

Five children were found dead at the scene and another died at a local hospital after the bus with 35 children on board crashed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, according to Hamilton County District Attorney Neal Pinkston.

The children were kindergarten goers, local press reported.

This is the second bus wreck in Tennessee in recent days. About two dozen students were injured on Friday morning after a school bus flipped on Interstate 65 in Nashville, the capital city of Tennessee. Endi
