Spanish stock market falls 1.09 pct, closes at 8,622 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 1.09 percent on Friday to close at 8,622.90 points.

Share values were down 0.19 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium going from 121 points on Monday to 138 points on Friday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate going from 1.56 percent on Monday to 1.70 percent on Friday closing time.

On Friday session, Melia Hotels shares led rises climbing 1.08 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Amadeus, Banco Popular, Merlin and Indra A that rose 0.81 percent, 0.48 percent, 0.47 percent, 0.35 percent, 0.21 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Mediaset shares led falls losing 2.88 percent, followed by BBVA, ArcelorMittal, Repsol, Banco Santander and Caixabank that lost 2.82 percent, 1.91 percent, 1.90 percent, 1.84 percent and 1.77 percent respectively. Endit
