Congress discussing human, natural resources kicks off in Poland

A two-day economy event named Congress 590 kicked off in Poland on Thursday.

The Congress is a forum of exchanging ideas and experiences of Polish specialists in areas such as business, science, politics and legislation.

The event got its name from the prefix of the bar code, which is placed on goods produced or distributed by Polish companies. It was started by the Slawomir Skrzypek Foundation.

The event includes discussions of panelists aimed at designating new directions for development based on the country's own human and natural resources. The Congress also analyzes way to strengthen and help Polish entrepreneurs.

Guests and speakers include Polish President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Beata Szydlo and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development Mateusz Morawiecki.

The panels include talks on small companies, innovations and start-ups, as well as social capital, non-economic conditions of development and the Polish diaspora.

The event enjoys honorary patronage of President Duda, whose economic awards are to be granted during the congress in six categories, such as responsible business and R&D. Endit
