Premier Li urges more efforts to green China's energy system

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has called for China's energy mix to be more in tune with the sustainable development of the economy.

At a meeting on Thursday with representatives of the energy industry, Li said China intends to foster an energy system that is clean, low-carbon, secure and efficient.

A national guideline on development of energy sector until 2020 highlights clean coal and new energy technology. Endi
