Administrator of "suicide community" in famous Russian VK social network arrested

Xinhua, November 16, 2016 Adjust font size:

Twenty-one-year-old Philip Budeykin, who presumably had been the administrator of one of the "suicide communities" in VK (Russian social network), was put under arrest on Wednesday in St. Petersburg.

TASS reported that eight different private communities (requiring administrator's approval) in VK promoted death and suicide related information in 2013-2016, causing 15 under-age participants commit suicide.

Investigating Committee of Russia is conducting a series of searches in ten regions in order to find all the creators of "suicide communities". Endit
