2016 Women's World 9-Ball Championship to open in China

The 2016 CITIC Guoan Cup Women's World 9-Ball Championship will be open in December in Mount Emei City of southwest China's Sichuan Province, said a press release on Tuesday.

Co-sponsored by World Pool-Billiard Association, Multi-ball Games Administrative Centre of General Administration of Sport of China, Chinese Billiards Association, government of Mount Emei City, the tournament will be held from Dec. 10 to 16 in Mount Emei city. The total prize money of up to 170,000 US dollars.

So far, players from at least 20 countries and regions will take part in the competition. WPA World top-10 player like Pan Xiaoting, Liu Shasha, Jasmin-Ouschan will attend, said Wang Tao, an official of Multi-ball Games Administrative Centre. Endit
