Two Russian Stereguschiy-class corvettes take part in tactical training exercise in Baltic Sea

The crews of two Russian Stereguschiy-class corvettes took part in a tactical training exercise in the Baltic sea, the Russian Western Military District press service reported Monday.

The most important part of the exercise was the launching of anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles. Targets imitating a maneuver enemy ship and cruise missile were successfully shot by the crews.

Project 20380 Stereguschiy-class corvette is the newest class of corvette in the Russian Navy. Those ships, along with other armaments, are equipped with Uran Kh-35 anti-ship missiles and Uran anti-aircraft missiles. At the moment, the Russian Navy has four Stereguschiy-class corvettes. Endit
